Window blinds in Hyderabad

Roman blinds fitted inside the reveal of a bedroom window, gathered clear of the glass

For windows where curtains would be in the way

Window blinds earn their place where there’s no room for fabric to stack, where the window gets wet, or where you want light without being seen. They sit inside the reveal and take up nothing.

What we supply and fit

  • One flat panel that rolls up. The least fuss, the least cost.

best for small windows, kitchens, study rooms

  • Folds in soft horizontal pleats. Reads as fabric, not hardware.

best for living and bedrooms where a roller would look bare

  • Alternating sheer and solid bands that slide over each other, so you tune the light without fully closing.

best for living rooms and home offices that face a road or a neighbour

  • Warmer than metal, and adjusts to the angle of the sun.

best for studies and living rooms in real wood, kitchens and bathrooms in faux

  • Channels down both edges stop the light leak roller blinds normally have at the sides.

best for nurseries and home theatres

  • Remote or app operated, wired or battery.

best for high windows, stairwells, anything you can’t reach

  • Cells that trap a layer of air, so the blind insulates as well as shades. Available blacked out.

best for west-facing glass, and bedrooms that run hot

  • Your own image, pattern or logo printed onto the blind fabric. Flattest on a roller, which is where a print stays sharpest.

best for offices, studios, and one wall that has to say something

Which one do you need?

The window is small and curtains would swallow it

A roller or Roman inside the reveal. Curtains need wall either side to stack against; without it they cover the glass even when open, and the room loses light it can’t afford.

It’s above the kitchen counter and will get greasy

A PVC or coated roller — it wipes down. Fabric near a hob holds smell and stains, and no amount of cleaning fixes it.

I want daylight but I don’t want to be seen

A zebra blind. Line the sheer bands up and you get filtered light with no clear view in; slide them and you get the window back.

Light leaks around the edges of my blackout blind

That’s the blind being fitted inside the reveal without channels. Side channels close the gap. Fitting outside the reveal, wider than the opening, is the other fix.

It’s a sliding door onto the balcony

A wide roller, or a zebra if you want to keep some light while it is down. Either pulls clear of the door so you can still walk through; a curtain in front of a sliding door gets caught in it.

The window is over the stairs and I can’t reach it

Motorised. Battery tubular motors need no new wiring, which matters if the room is already finished.

Talk it through

Measurements are the part most people get wrong, and a wrong measurement usually means a remake. Send a photograph of your window and we’ll tell you exactly what we need to see. The showroom is open Monday to Saturday, 11am – 8.30pm, or answer six questions and we’ll call you back knowing what you need.

Send a photo of your window — it usually tells us more than a description.

We come to you, measure and bring samples. The visit is ₹500, and it comes off your final bill if you go ahead.

The same trade, but the job changes with the housing. These are the areas where that difference is worth writing down.
