A sofa with a good frame is worth repairing — you’ll get a better piece than the same money buys new. Most of what comes to us is a repair rather than a recover: foam gone flat, webbing stretched, a spring dropped, an arm loose. Where the frame itself has gone, we build one to the same dimensions so it still fits the room.

Which one do you need?
“The frame has gone wobbly and it creaks”
Almost always the joints rather than the timber. They are re-glued and re-pinned with the cover off one end, and the sofa goes back solid. A frame is the expensive part of a sofa and the part worth saving.
“The sofa sags in the middle but looks fine”
That’s the foam and webbing, not the cover. Replacing those and keeping the fabric is a fraction of a full recover.
“We have young children and everything gets marked”
Either a performance fabric with a stain-resist finish, or loose covers you can pull off and wash. Loose covers cost less to replace when they’re eventually beyond saving.
“I want a sofa to fit an odd corner”
Then it is a new one, and we manufacture those to size as well — frame, suspension, foam and cover. Anything from a standard range will be a compromise in a room that isn’t a standard shape.
“I like the sofa but hate the colour”
Recovering keeps the frame and comfort you already know, which is the hard part to buy. Fabric is the easy part to change.

The showroom is open Monday to Saturday, 11am – 8.30pm, or answer six questions and we’ll call you back knowing what you need.
