The ₹500 site visit
the only fee on this website, and you get it back
We ask what you need first, then come to you with ten to fifteen fabric books chosen for those rooms. Allow about two hours. We measure every window ourselves, and the visit is ₹500 — which comes off your final bill if you go ahead with the work.
What happens
- We ask before we packWhich rooms, roughly what you are working with, the look you are after, and a few photographs. That decides what comes with us — ten to fifteen fabric books picked against your answer, rather than the same pile everybody gets.
- A day’s notice, then about two hoursTell us a day ahead and we will fix a time. Allow roughly two hours: measuring properly and looking at fabric in the real light of the room both take longer than people expect, and hurrying either is how mistakes get made.
- We measure — not youA window measured by anyone other than the person fitting it is where most problems start. Send your own numbers for a rough quote by all means, but we check them before anything is cut.
- The fabric, in the room it is going inColour and weight never look the same on a screen as they do on your own wall at four in the afternoon. That is what the books are for, and why they come to you rather than you trying to remember a shade on the drive home.
- The ₹500 comes off the billIf you go ahead with the work, the visit costs you nothing in the end. If you don’t, it has covered someone’s time and travel across the city.
There is no limit on how many rooms or windows. One pair of curtains or a whole flat, it is the same visit and the same ₹500.
Why it isn’t free
Because someone drives across Hyderabad, spends time in your rooms and brings fabric with them, and that costs something whether or not you order anything.
It is worth reading what a free visit elsewhere actually means. A booking fee that is separate from the job is money you do not get back. Ours is deducted, so if you go ahead you have paid nothing for the visit — and if you decide against it, you have paid ₹500 for a proper measurement and honest advice, which is not a bad afternoon.
It is still the only figure that is about you rather than about the market. The journal publishes what quality cloth, hardware and blinds cost by the metre and by the square foot, and those bands are worth reading before you shop — but a band is not a quote. What your window costs depends on the window, the fabric and how many panels it takes, and putting a number on that before measuring is how people end up disappointed.

The showroom is on Road No. 12, Banjara Hills, Monday to Saturday, 11am – 8.30pm, closed Sunday. There is no charge for walking in, and there is more fabric in one room than anybody can carry to a flat.
